Cottonopoly is delighted to announce its selection for funding from Greater Manchester's Foundational Economy Innovation Fund, aimed at bolstering businesses contributing to the region's foundational or 'everyday economy.'
This fund supports innovative initiatives vital for Greater Manchester's functionality.
Among the 40 chosen projects, Cottonopoly receives an initial grant and expert guidance to develop innovative solutions within six months.
Cottonopoly uses circular-design and Traceable Takeback Technology to provide affordable, high-quality school uniforms that don’t end-up in landfill and inspire children to become conscious consumers.
David Oates, Founder at Cottonopoly, stated: "We’re on a mission to make school uniforms more sustainable and affordable. Our grant from Greater Manchester's Foundational Economy Innovation Fund signifies a pivotal step towards achieving this goal. And we're proud to be doing this in Manchester, a city rich with creativity and a long track-record in industry-defining innovation."
